Floral Arrangement 1, 32″x32″, mixed media, 2019 continues my interest in 17th C. Dutch Still Life painting that intermingle color, pattern and shape in expressive ways. These florals are a natural extension of my interest in bringing abstraction and narrative together in an improvisational process activated by the sound and feeling of music and dance.
