The Deluge by Bill Russell shows container ships, Noah’s Ark, the Kraken, the Titanic and other elements of our culture being devoured by sea level rise…the result of the melting of the polar ice cap, due to global warming.

The painting was shown in the Here and Now Exhibition at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art in Novato, California from Jan.9 to Feb.21, 2021.
